# Filter and search signatures

> Find the right signature in Scribe quickly using search and filters. Narrow by design status, teammate assignment, or installation state in seconds.

As your workspace grows, filters and search help you find the right signature quickly, whether you're looking for a draft that needs finishing, a signature with [no teammates assigned](/en/assign-teammates-to-a-signature), or one that [failed to install](/en/install-signatures).

## Search

Use the search bar at the top of the Signatures page to find a signature by name. Results update as you type.

## Filters

Click the **filter icon** next to the search bar to open the filter menu. You can filter by three categories:

</Frame>

**Design** filters signatures by their design status:

* **Published**: signatures with a design that is live and visible to assigned teammates
* **Draft**: signatures with a design that is still being worked on and not yet published

**Teammates** filters signatures by teammate assignment:

* **Assigned**: signatures that have at least one teammate assigned to them
* **Not assigned**: signatures that have no teammates assigned yet

**Installation** filters signatures by installation status:

* **Installed**: signatures that are installed in your teammates' email clients
* **Not installed**: signatures that have not been installed yet

You can combine filters with the search bar to narrow down results even further. For example, you can search for a signature name and only show published signatures that are not installed yet.

## Signature status

</Frame>

Filters can be combined across categories. For example, you can filter for signatures that are in Draft status *and* have teammates assigned, to quickly find signatures that are ready to publish.

<Tip>
  Use filters to audit your workspace. For example, filter by "Not assigned" to find signatures that aren't being used, or by "Not installed" to spot signatures that still need to be deployed.
