# Zoho Mail signature not installed

> Find out why Scribe skipped a teammate's Zoho Mail signature: the address has no active mailbox in the connected Zoho Mail organization.

When you install signatures, Scribe skips any address that has no active mailbox in the Zoho Mail organization you connected. The teammate's status stays **Not installed**, with no error: there is nowhere in Zoho Mail to put the signature.

## Why an address is skipped

* **The address is not in your Zoho Mail organization.** It belongs to another provider, or to another Zoho organization than the one connected to Scribe.
* **The mailbox is disabled**, or the user's account is deactivated, in the Zoho Mail Admin Console.
* **The address is a typo** in Scribe, or was changed in Zoho Mail after the teammate was added.

## Install the signature

    In the [Zoho Mail Admin Console](https://mailadmin.zoho.com/), open Users and find the teammate. Check that the address, or the alias, matches the one in Scribe, and that the account and its mailbox are active.

  <Step title="Fix the address in Scribe if needed">
    If you sync teammates from Zoho Mail, click **Refresh** on the Teammates page to pick up the change. Otherwise, correct the teammate's email in Scribe.

  <Step title="Reinstall the signature">
    [Install the signature](/en/install-signatures) again. The status changes to **Installed** once Zoho Mail has a mailbox for the address.
