Scribe integrates with your email provider, directory, HRIS, and business tools to automate every aspect of email signature management. Instead of manually updating signatures or collecting employee information, integrations keep everything in sync automatically. There are three types of integrations in Scribe, each serving a different purpose.

Signature integrations

Signature integrations connect Scribe to your email provider to deploy and update signatures across your organization. Depending on your email provider, you can choose between three deployment methods.

Automated - Client Side

Admin activates integration and installs signatures for all teammates. Emails stay within your email provider — they’re never routed through external servers.

Automated - Server Side

Admin setup for all teammates. One integration for all email clients and devices. Emails route through Scribe for signature processing.
Server-side is an advanced feature. IT support is required to set up this integration.
  • Users don’t see signatures when composing an email.
  • Your emails are processed through Scribe’s secure servers to install signatures. Scribe cannot read or edit your emails.
  • You can combine client-side and server-side integration. If both are connected, Scribe defaults to client-side so users can see their signatures when composing emails.

Not sure which method to choose? Client Side is recommended for most teams. It gives you centralized control with one-click deployment, teammates can see their signature when composing emails, and emails never leave your provider.

Teammate integrations

Teammate integrations sync your organization’s directory with Scribe so teammate information stays up to date automatically. When someone joins, leaves, or changes role in your directory, Scribe reflects those changes without manual updates.

Smart Field integrations auto-fill your teammates’ signature fields using data from your existing business tools. Instead of manually entering phone numbers, job titles, or calendar links for each teammate, Scribe pulls this information directly from the source.
