The Scribe Affiliate Program lets you earn money by recommending Scribe to people in your network. For every new customer you refer, you earn a 30% commission on their subscription for up to 12 months. Your referrals also get a 30% discount automatically applied at checkout. There is no cap on how much you can earn. The more customers you refer, the more you make.

How it works

The affiliate program follows four simple steps.

Your affiliate dashboard

Once you join the program, you can access your affiliate dashboard from the Refer and earn section in the Scribe sidebar. The dashboard has four tabs: Overview, Earnings, FAQ, and ROI Calculator.

Overview

The Overview tab gives you a snapshot of your affiliate activity and earnings. Activity shows three metrics that help you understand how your referral link is performing. Clicks is the total number of unique clicks your link has received. Leads is the total number of signups that came from your link. Sales is the total number of leads that converted to a paid account. Earnings shows your financial progress. Payout threshold tracks your current earnings toward the $200 minimum required for payout. Paid shows the total amount already paid out to you. Total shows your total lifetime earnings from the affiliate program, including paid and pending amounts.

Earnings

The Earnings tab shows a detailed table of all your referral transactions. Each row includes the customer email, the date of the transaction, the subscription amount, your commission earnings, and the current status. Transactions can have one of three statuses: Pending means the commission is waiting to be processed, Processed means it has been approved and is ready for payout, and Paid means the funds have been transferred to your account.

The FAQ tab answers the most common questions about the affiliate program directly inside the dashboard. You can expand each question to read the full answer.

ROI Calculator

The ROI Calculator helps you estimate your potential earnings. Enter the number of employees your client needs signatures for, and the calculator will show the yearly cost for your client (with the 30% discount applied) and the yearly revenue you would earn from the 30% commission.

Connect your payout method

To receive your commissions, you need to connect a payout method. Click Connect payout on the Overview tab and fill in the required information. You will need to provide your company name, tax ID, full business address (street, house number, postal code, city, and country), and your payout details. You can choose to receive payments through PayPal or a bank account number. Once your payout method is connected, commissions will be transferred automatically each month when your balance reaches the $200 minimum.

Commission details

30% commission for 12 months. You earn a 30% commission on all subscriptions for the first 12 months for each paying customer you refer. There is no cap on earnings, so you can refer as many customers as you like. 90 day conversion window. Customers you refer will initially register for the free plan. If they upgrade to a paid plan within 90 days of their initial registration, that subscription will be credited to you. Attribution is based on last click, so your link must be the last one clicked before the customer signs up for Scribe. 30% discount for your referrals. Your referred customers also benefit from the program. They receive a 30% discount automatically applied at checkout for their first 12 months. Monthly payouts. Commission payouts are processed monthly, typically on the 1st. Payments are made when the total accrued commission reaches $200 or more.

How to promote the program

Share your unique referral link with your audience through your preferred channels. When you post or distribute content about Scribe, your message must make it clear that you have a financially compensated relationship with Scribe. All promotions need to be FTC compliant.

Business registration requirement

Anyone participating in the affiliate program must be registered as a business or as a self employed professional. You will need to provide a valid business registration number to comply with legal requirements. For affiliates based in France, this means providing your SIREN number. For affiliates in other countries, the equivalent registration number in your jurisdiction is required. Without this number, no payment can be processed.

Terms and conditions

By joining the Scribe Affiliate Program, you agree to the following rules. Self referrals are not allowed. You cannot sign up for Scribe through your own affiliate link. Abuse, gaming, or attempting to mislead (for example, posting fake discounts to coupon sharing websites) will result in your account being permanently banned. You may not run search engine ads on branded terms or domain names, Facebook ads, or other paid ads that would compete with Scribe marketing efforts and cause potential confusion for customers. You may not run Facebook ads that link to the Scribe website or do anything similar that would compete with Scribe paid marketing, drive up costs, or cause confusion. You may not pretend to be acting on behalf of Scribe or present yourself as a Scribe employee. Scribe reserves the right to change the terms of service for the affiliate program at any time. Scribe reserves the right to terminate your affiliate account for violation of any of the rules at its sole discretion. Commissions generated by mechanisms that violate the terms of service will not be paid or owed.
