Add teammates manually

Add teammates one at a time directly in Scribe. This is useful when you have a small team, need to add a few people outside your directory, or don’t use Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra ID.

How to add a teammate

  1. Go to Teammates and click + Add Teammates in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Add manually under the Manual section.
  3. Fill in the required fields:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Job Position
    • Email
  4. Click Add Teammate.
The teammate will appear in your teammates list immediately.

Add multiple teammates in a row

Enable the Add another teammate toggle at the bottom of the modal before clicking Add Teammate. The form will stay open after each submission so you can add the next person without reopening the modal.
If you need to add more than a handful of teammates, consider uploading a CSV or syncing from your Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra ID directory instead.

What happens next

Manually added teammates work the same as synced teammates. You can:
  • Assign signatures to them
  • Edit their profile information at any time from the teammates list
  • Add them to groups for easier signature management
If you later connect a directory integration (Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra ID), it will override your manually added teammates. Only use the manual option if you don’t plan to sync from a directory, or if you need to add people who aren’t in your directory.
