Scribe supports 11 web-safe fonts that are guaranteed to display correctly across all major email clients.

Why not custom or Google fonts?

Email clients donโ€™t work like web browsers. Browsers can load and render any font from the web, but email clients canโ€™t. Most email clients rely on a limited set of pre-installed fonts, and when they encounter a font they donโ€™t support, they silently replace it with a default system font. This means a signature designed with a custom font might look exactly as intended in Gmail on Chrome, but completely different in Outlook on Windows, or on a recipientโ€™s mobile device. The sender never sees the difference, but the recipient does. To ensure your signatures look consistent for every recipient, on every device, Scribe uses web-safe fonts only. These are fonts that are pre-installed on virtually all operating systems and supported by all email clients.
