# Microsoft Entra ID

The Microsoft Entra ID integration allows you to automatically sync your Microsoft Entra ID Groups, Administrative Units, and teammates with Scribe.

### Why sync my Microsoft Entra ID with Scribe?

* You save time because you don't have to add your teammates manually.
* You save time since your teammates' data is synced with Scribe. This allows you to auto-fill their signature information using our [attribute feature](https://help.scribe-mail.com/scribe/auto-fill-signatures-information/how-to-auto-fill-your-teammates-email-signature-information).
* You save time as your teammates are synchronized with Scribe. Any changes in your Microsoft Entra ID, such as moving teammates from one group to another or updating their information (e.g., job position), will be automatically reflected in Scribe without any input on your part.

To enable one-click synchronization, you must grant Scribe permission to connect with your email provider. You need to be a Super Admin of your email provider to provide these permissions.

You will have the option to select which teammates you want to sync with Scribe. You don't have to sync all your Microsoft Entra ID. All changes made in your email provider directory will be automatically synced with Scribe.

Scribe can enhance teammate information from HR software and other sources after email provider sync. Use attributes to automatically populate signatures and save time.

Scribe automatically syncs teammate data from your email provider daily at your local time. For immediate updates, click 'Refresh' in the Teammates tab.

### Go to the integration tab

In the teammates tab, select the Microsoft Entra ID option then click on **"Sync teammates"** in the right panel.

### Pick an account

Confirm again the Microsoft account to sync with Scribe.&#x20;

### Accept the permissions

Scribe is [SOC2 Type II](https://help.scribe-mail.com/scribe/security/what-scribe-does-concerning-security) compliant. You can find the scopes that we are using from Microsoft 365 [here](https://scribe.trust.page/faqs). We can't send or read your emails.

### Select which teammates to sync with Scribe

You can select teammates across your teammate's list, Administrative Units, or Groups.

### Done

All your teammate's selections are now syncing Scribe. Go to your [signature template](https://help.scribe-mail.com/scribe/signature-templates/signature-templates) to assign teammates and give them a signature.&#x20;

### Troubleshooting

**How can I verify if I'm a Super admin of my email provider?**&#x20;

Go to the[ Microsoft App Source marketplace](https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-US/product/office/WA200004057). It’ll open a new page where you can install the Scribe app. Look at the top right button.\

If you see a clickable blue button that says “Install”, you are a Super admin. Congrats - you can synchronize your teammates!

If you see a grey “Install” button that you can’t click, you might not be a Super Admin. Invite a Super Admin to synchronize your teammates. You can also send them the link to the [Microsoft App Source marketplace](https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-US/product/office/WA200004057) directly to install the Scribe add-in. They don't have to be invited on Scribe.&#x20;
