# Microsoft 365 (server-side)

## Part 1: Create an outbound connector <a href="#part-1-add-host" id="part-1-add-host"></a>

In order to route your emails through Scribe secure servers, you have to create an outbound connector in your exchange admin

In your [Exchange admin interface](https://admin.exchange.microsoft.com/#/connectors), go to Mail flow -> Connectors and click on "**Add connector**".

At the first step, select connection from "**Office 365**" and connection to "**Partner organization**"<br>

At step 2, enter a name and a description. You can also check "**Turn it on**"

At step 3, select "**Only when I have a transport rule set up that redirects messages to this connector**"

At step 4, select **"Route email through these smart hosts**" and add "**smtp.server.scribe-mail.com**" in the list

At step 5, select "**Always use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to secure the connection (recommended)**", then select "**Issued by a trusted certificate authority (CA)**", then check "**Add the subject name or subject alternative name (SAN) matches this domain name**" and enter "**smtp.server.scribe-mail.com**" in the field.

At step 6, enter "**<scribe-o365-test@scribe-mail.com>**" as test email and start the validation.\
Sometimes, the validation fails, you can safely continue without validating.

At step 7, you can review your connector and create it.

## Part 2: Create an inbound connector <a href="#part-1-add-host" id="part-1-add-host"></a>

In your [Exchange admin interface](https://admin.exchange.microsoft.com/#/connectors), go to Mail flow -> Connectors and click on "**Add connector**".

At the first step, select connection from "**Your organization's email server**".

At step 2, enter a name and a description. You can also check "**Turn it on**"

At step 3, you can add the two following ips in the list: 15.236.243.144 and 51.44.50.107

You can click next, review your connector and create it.

## Part 3: Create a rule <a href="#part-1-add-host" id="part-1-add-host"></a>

In your [Exchange admin interface](https://admin.exchange.microsoft.com/#/connectors), go to Mail flow -> Rules and click on "**Add rule**" then click on "**Create a new rule**"

Fill in the first form like on the following screenshot

On the next step, you can leave the rule settings as is.

You can then review your rule and save it.

The, from the rules list, you can select your rule and enable it.<br>

## Part 4: Configure DKIM

Go to Scribe -> Settings -> DNS and configure DKIM for your sending domains
