# Signature variants

### Signature variant

As a Microsoft user, you can create different signature variants for one template for each of your signature templates:

**Primary signature** = default signature

**On Reply** = signature used when replying to external emails.

**Internal** = signature used when emailing team members.&#x20;

Based on your use case, Scribe will automatically display the correct signature when composing an email. Teammates can also choose between different signatures manually directly in their Scribe Outlook add-in.&#x20;

When you click on the select variant button you can either select an existing template from your signature templates library
