# Signature variants ### Signature variant As a Microsoft user, you can create different signature variants for one template for each of your signature templates:

**Primary signature** = default signature **On Reply** = signature used when replying to external emails. **Internal** = signature used when emailing team members. Based on your use case, Scribe will automatically display the correct signature when composing an email. Teammates can also choose between different signatures manually directly in their Scribe Outlook add-in. When you click on the select variant button you can either select an existing template from your signature templates library
