# How do Scribe email signatures work with an email alias?

An email alias is an alternative email address that forwards to a primary email account, allowing users to receive messages from multiple addresses in a single inbox.

In Scribe, a user can have one email signature for their primary email and unlimited signatures for their email aliases.

We charge per user, not per signature. This means each user can have multiple email aliases and associated signatures without incurring additional costs.

To assign a signature to an alias in Scribe, ensure that the alias is linked to a specific Scribe signature template. When you select an email alias in Gmail or Outlook, the corresponding signature will automatically appear when composing an email.

### **Syncing teammates from your email provider?**

Scribe will automatically sync the email alias you created in your [Google Workspace](https://help.scribe-mail.com/scribe/add-teammates/google-workspace) or [Microsoft Entra](https://help.scribe-mail.com/scribe/add-teammates/microsoft-entra-id)

[ ID.](https://help.scribe-mail.com/scribe/add-teammates/microsoft-entra-id)

### **Managing teammates manually in Scribe?**

Once you added manually teammates in Scribe go to their profile from the teammates list by clicking on the edit icon. Once in the profile page click on the "add an email alias" button at the bottom.
